A Little Bit About me

I am an artist based in New York City, originally from China, where I lived until relocating in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic. This transition marked a pivotal shift in both my life and artistic practice, prompting a deeper exploration of identity, displacement, and perception.

My work navigated the space between reality and imagination, often drawing from surrealism and dreamlike states. I am interested in how memory, emotion, and subconscious imagery distort what we perceive as truth. Through experimenting with a range of materials and processes, I use making to question the capacities of form, meaning, and self.
